The “Towards A Family-Friendly Tea Industry” conference organised by The Centre last month saw over 100 stakeholders representing the tea industry come together to tackle and address key child rights issues.
The one-day conference, supported by Save the Children’s Country Office in Sri Lanka, provided a platform for stakeholders to share best practices and discuss how stakeholders in the tea industry could better collaborate to find solutions to existing and emerging challenges that plantation communities face.
