Our Growing CRIB Working Group Community

The Centre’s Child Rights in Business (CRIB) Working Group now has over 45+ global brand and retailer members.  This growing cohort of businesses represents a dynamic force for collaboration on child rights and responsible sourcing.

Spanning industries from apparel and electronics to food and agriculture, CRIB Working Group members are united by a shared commitment: to protect and respect the child rights of children, families and young workers across global supply chains.

The CRIB Working Group serves as a trusted, pre-competitive space where brands and retailers can learn, share, and collaborate. It connects companies directly with peers and experts to identify shared challenges and exchange practical solutions. Whether understanding supply chain risks or developing supplier capacity, addressing child labour or promoting family-friendly workplaces, members gain exclusive, real-time insights from the field through The Centre. They also stay informed on emerging trends and legislative developments related to human rights due diligence (HRDD).

Why are more businesses becoming CRIB Members?

CRIB members gain early access to The Centre’s on-the-ground collaborative programmes and initiatives. Additional benefits include real-time alerts on child labour cases and updates on child rights risks, as well as access to a broad range of publications, data, and country-specific case studies that help inform decision-making.

The Centre’s expert-led CRIB meetings and thematic workstreams are regularly held in key cities such as London, New York, and Hong Kong. These gatherings foster deeper peer learning and collaborative problem-solving. Meetings follow a hybrid format—both online and in-person—which enables broader participation.

CRIB Working Group includes priority access to The Centre’s Child Labour Rapid Response service, a trusted mechanism for companies needing immediate and effective support when suspected child labour cases arise. Beyond child labour response, members also collaborate on proactive initiatives, including multi-stakeholder projects that deliver long-term impact for children and communities.

With a growing suite of digital tools, including an online platform for resource sharing, the CRIB Working Group acts as a platform to catalyse collaboration and drive change.
